First Saturday of the month: food trucks, live music, and a walkable downtown evening. Free to attend; food and vendor goods are paid. Clermont Main Street lists this date on its calendar. Parking is typically at City Center and the Minneola Avenue lots — confirm on the event page if streets are closed.

Monday, September 7 is a listed City of Clermont holiday. City Hall’s regular hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., excluding holidays.

Labor Day is not on the City of Clermont 2026 sanitation holiday list. Other holidays do not change collection days. This is city sanitation only — Lake County customers can have a different schedule. City carts are green with a white City of Clermont logo.
Lake County Library System’s August 7, 2026 news release lists Cooper Memorial Library (and Minneola Library) closed Saturday through Monday, September 5–7. All sixteen county libraries reopen Tuesday, September 8.
The City of Clermont special-events page lists Red, White and Boom fireworks for Independence Day and a Christmas parade in December. We did not find an official Labor Day fireworks show or parade for 2026, so we are not listing one.

If you already live here, you do not need a theme-park plan. Saturday morning is parkrun at Lake Hiawatha Preserve; Saturday evening is downtown food trucks; Sunday is the market on Montrose. In between, the South Lake Trail and the public beach do the rest.
Cooper Memorial is closed this Saturday through Monday, so do not count on indoor air-conditioning as the backup plan. Lake Louisa is open 8 a.m. to sundown if you want woods instead of Highway 50.
